Our Story

It's all about Pip.

In 2015, brothers Nick and Tyler launched Reptilinks, a pioneering company that revolutionized reptile feeding by offering whole-prey sausages. Their approach was simple yet powerful: use the highest quality ingredients and let the product speak for itself, bypassing expensive advertising and unnecessary packaging. A decade later, Reptilinks has become one of the most beloved and respected names in the reptile industry. Along the way, they discovered something unexpected— their dog, Pip, thrived on the raw, whole-prey diet made from "extras"— imperfect sausages that didn't make the cut for reptiles.

As they worked in the pet food industry, they realized that while dog food and treats may be marketed as "healthy," the raw ingredients often told a different story. Many commercial pet foods use bulk-sourced prey, frequently from China, and are packed with fillers and preservatives to lower costs and extend shelf life. But dogs are natural carnivores, consuming nearly the entire prey they catch in the wild. That’s why True Whole Prey is committed to offering dogs the same: pure, whole-prey food and treats, with nothing else.
